I remember the old things that used to make me happy at times but they were only entertaining my flesh while my spirit was suffering. Cardi’s music and persona heavy on the explicit vibes, money flexing, and all that don’t exactly scream Jesus’ teachings, like loving your neighbor or fleeing sexual immorality (Mark 12:31, 1 Corinthians 6:18). If she were anointed in that biblical sense, you’d expect her actions to line up more with the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), not the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21). I’m with you 100% there, her career doesn’t look like a divine endorsement. But here’s where I’m chewing on something different. If Yahweh’s God and Jesus is Lord, ruling over everything, doesn’t that mean He’s still the one letting her climb to the top of the entertainment game? Romans 13:1 says no authority exists except what God establishes, doesn’t that cover cultural icons too, not just kings? Look at Pharaoh bro, God raised him up to flex His power through judgment (Exodus 9:16). Or Nebuchadnezzar, a pagan tool in God’s hands (Jeremiah 25:9).
